To improve your health, you need to start recovering from the inside.
As part of therapeutic or preventive measures, specialized diets were developed back in Soviet times, which were delimited by their composition into several subsections and were recommended for some specific diseases: obesity, kidney, liver, gastrointestinal tract, oncology, etc.
Not a few years have passed since the times of the Pevzner dietary method, and no one brought any serious changes to it, because it remains relevant to this day.
All Pevzner's diets are designated by some number and are called "tables". For people with renal failure, pancreatitis, nephrotic syndrome, diabetic nephropathy and other renal diseases, the corresponding tables are: 7a, 7b, 7.
Since renal failure progresses at the time of an imbalance in metabolic processes (in particular, with a violation of protein, lipid and water-salt metabolism), as a result of which the normal functioning of the organ is disrupted, and the blood is not properly purified. This phenomenon is reflected in the blood, which can be used to judge a particular stage of renal disease. If protein is found in the urine, and there is a lot of urea, uric acid and creatinine in the blood, then in urgent order they also use drug treatment in an osprey with a diet.
To prevent the development of urolithiasis, it is recommended to limit the intake of salts (patients are transferred to a salt-free diet), and a decrease in protein foods allows reducing albuminuria. The so-called protein-free or low-protein diet is aimed at compensating for the excess of non-consumed protein, restoring the water-salt balance. It also doses the volume of carbohydrates with lipids and is well suited even for diabetics. But since the main transport component - protein (extremely necessary for the normal functioning of the whole organism) is sharply limited, it is impossible to adhere to diet 7a and 7b for a long time. It is designed for a short period of time:
- 7a - about a week (this can be called an introductory diet)
- 7b - in some cases follows the diet 7a
Table 7a allows you to remove all by-products (nitrogenous wastes, urea, creatinine, etc.), obtained as a result of metabolic, metabolic processes, creates favorable conditions for blood circulation and thereby reduces arterial hypertension. With the exclusion of salts from food, an excess of water is compensated, under-oxidized metabolic products are more easily removed, blood pressure and azotemia is stopped.
The diet is structured to reduce the overall energy value daily consumed foods due to sharp cuts in protein and restriction of fats with carbohydrates. Foods that inhibit renal activity, stimulate the central nervous and cardiovascular systems are completely excluded, for example, rich foods essential oils, oxalic acid - rhubarb, spinach, etc.
The entire dietary treatment technique is aimed at preventing the breakdown of protein tissues, which is characteristic of progressive and correcting metabolic processes.
Indications
- acute glomerulonephritis with a severe course (they resort to this diet after fasting days)
- glomerulonephritis of moderate severity (you can stick to a diet from the first days of diagnosis)
- chronic glomerulonephritis aggravated by severe kidney failure
- chronic kidney disease (renal failure) with a pronounced impairment of the nitrogen excreting function of the kidneys
With this immune-inflammatory disease, patients often suffer from severe edema in the scopes with arterial hypertension. Taking this feature into account, the diet is designed in such a way as to normalize protein metabolism, increase daily diuresis (amount of urine), which removes excess fluid from the body.
Energy value (g)
It is worth clarifying one more point, 20-25% of the consumed fats should be of plant origin, and the rest of the animal. The decrease in the amount of salt also occurs due to the transition to salt-free bread.
With regard to fluid intake, the volume of water is calculated taking into account the daily urine output prior to the day of the diet. Thus, the amount of water should be 200 - 300 ml higher than the volume of the released liquid. This is done in order to prevent dehydration, because you cannot sharply reduce the amount of drinking! This will have a detrimental effect on the condition of the blood, which, with impaired renal function, becomes toxic and does not receive proper filtration, cleaning from toxins, toxins and metabolic products.
Diet
Fractional meals are recommended from 5 to 6 times a day in compliance with the pastel regimen. Heavy physical activity is canceled. The diet lasts 5 to 7 days. All meals are prepared without salt! It is allowed to bake, boil, slightly simmer food on the fire. Taboo on very fatty, fried!

If, with kidney problems, a person has diabetes, then it is worthwhile to use any sweets with caution, but in order to ensure the proper level of calories and replenish the energy balance, it is proposed to include in the diet that contribute to the improvement functional state myocardium, liver, kidneys.
The expediency of introducing quite high-calorie foods into the diet is justified by the fact that with severe kidney damage, in order to normalize metabolic and recovery processes, the body begins to break down the living organic tissue of other internal organs. A lower calorie diet will accelerate the breakdown of your own proteins, which will lead to hyperkalemia, and this is fraught with even more serious problems.
Features of table 7b
This type of diet is applied after table 7a. This table is more gentle with a moderate restriction of proteins, salt, fats, fluids and is used in the treatment of chronic forms of kidney disease and with their exacerbation.
Food is fractional 5 - 6 times per duck, culinary processing corresponds to table 7a, however, there is a significant change in the diet. Boiled meat or fish (no more than 50 grams), 200 grams of milk or kefir or 1 egg, or 100 grams of cottage cheese are consumed daily.
If the daily urine output reaches the norm of 1500 ml, then the potassium content in the diet can not be limited, and with a further increase in urine output, doctors usually advise, on the contrary, to enrich the diet with potassium, since its concentration in the blood gradually decreases.
If diuretics () are prescribed to the patient together with the diet, then it is worth remembering that some of them contribute to the excretion of potassium along with urine. This will quickly lead to hypokalemia. Therefore, we enrich the diet with foods rich in this substance: seaweed, dried apricots, prunes, raisins, lentils, peanuts, pine nuts, walnuts, liver, dairy products, eggs, etc.
Sodium is also excreted in the urine. If the percentage of sodium and potassium excretion exceeds the norm, then acidosis will develop!
However, it is very difficult to control the potassium-sodium balance on your own!
It is necessary to carefully monitor its level by means of urine under the supervision of a group of doctors (nephrologist, nutritionist, endocrinologist, neurologist)!
Since the rate of glomerular filtration of the kidneys decreases, a lot of nitrogenous toxins gradually accumulate in the blood, which leads to a drop in the relative density of urine. In severe forms of the disease, diet and pills will no longer be able to help. You will need to resort to the help of an "artificial kidney" -
or to a donor organ transplant operation, after which a planned one must be performed.
To reduce the concentration of nitrogenous toxins, fasting days are used, which are carried out under the supervision of doctors as part of inpatient treatment in compliance with bed rest.
With the development of anemia against the background chronic illness kidney, it is necessary to include foods rich in the diet: cyanocobalamin, folacin, iron (apples, tomatoes, fresh salad, oatmeal and pearl barley, etc.).
Indications
- acute glomerulonephritis and with its exacerbation
- chronic renal failure
- in violation of the nitrogen excretory function of the kidneys (with a decrease in glomerular filtration)

Fasting days (contrast diet)
You cannot immediately switch to any diet for kidney disease!
It is necessary to prepare the body for this.
Therefore, it is recommended that initially one day preceding the diet be made unloading. But do not forget that due to the low calorie content, there should not be more than 1 such days (or more, but according to the doctor's recommendation). Moreover, adhering to the treated diet, the patient adheres to the prescribed bed rest and excludes any physical activity.
This mode is designed for inpatient treatment and it is not recommended to adhere to the diet on your own.
Before choosing a diet for yourself, be sure to consult with doctors (endocrinologist, nephrologist, nutritionist, etc.) and take all the necessary tests.
Fasting days are prescribed once a week or 10 days.
A contrast diet allows you to normalize metabolism, reduces the functional load of the entire urinary system, promotes the elimination of metabolic products, excess sodium from the body, relieves swelling, as it removes excess fluid, reduces the symptoms of kidney disease, etc.

A protein-free diet (fasting) is necessary both during the treatment of diseases and to build up the body's reserves in order to increase and prevent diseases.
A protein-free diet is not a recent innovation. The history of such a diet dates back to the ancient Christians. In the religious tradition, a protein-free diet is a well-known fast: the Assumption Fast, the Nativity Fast, Great post, Petrov post, the total duration of which during the year is more than 100 days.
Fasting is not just a religious ceremony! The need for a period of special (protein-free) nutrition in our time has its scientific justification.
The scientific basis for a protein-free diet (fasting)
There are two sources of protein for our cells.
- Firstly, these are proteins that come from food. In the process of digesting food, protein enters the lymphatic system, where it is normalized, that is, brought to a form suitable for use by our cells. Further, the normalized protein enters the bloodstream, which carries it throughout the body.
- Secondly, it is a secondary protein formed as a result of the destruction of the body's own dead or damaged cells. The body produces about 50-100 grams of this protein per day.
As you know, the essential element that makes up our cells is protein. At the same time, millions of cells die every second in our body, and about the same number of new ones are born. With the death and destruction of a cell, the proteins that form it enter the intercellular space, which then enter the lymphatic system to bring them to a form suitable for reuse.
As a result, both of these protein streams (from food and secondary) meet in the lymphatic system. As long as the lymphatic system can handle these flows, there is no problem.
With age or with illness, the number of dead cells in a person increases, and, accordingly, the amount of secondary protein entering the lymphatic system.
The liver is responsible for breaking down excess protein, converting protein into various biocomponents, such as fats. When the liver cannot cope with this function, then the protein begins to accumulate in the lymph nodes and the main buffer storage - the thoracic duct. And if the lymphatic system does not have reserves, then, having received a critical dose of protein for itself, occurs:
- restriction on lymphatic drainage from tissues. This, in turn, leads to the accumulation of dead cells in the tissues, which aggravates not only the current disease, but also leads to the appearance of systemic problems in other organs where toxins accumulate.
- "Emergency" discharge of excess protein through the nearest utilization channels (mucous membranes of the lungs, throat, nose, intestines, as well as through the pores of the skin). The influx of building protein into the mucous membranes leads to the rapid development of the infection located on them. As a result, there may be an increase in runny nose and sputum production, stomach upset, and acne on the skin.
How can a protein-free diet or fasting help us?
Refusal for a while from products with high content proteins (meat, poultry, eggs, fish, cottage cheese, cheese, nuts, soy and other similar products) can empty the lymphatic system from excess protein and avoid the harmful effects of its overload.
During a fast or a healthy protein-free diet, the body uses the accumulated reserves of protein found in the lymph nodes. As a result, there is also the creation of reserves for receiving new portions of protein from dead cells. And this is just one of the most important ways.
Such a diet during the period of illness can facilitate treatment and speed up recovery, and if it is used prophylactically, then many diseases can simply be avoided.
During the treatment of most diseases, it is necessary to abstain as much as possible from foods high in protein, therefore such a protein-free diet is called a healing diet.
The period and duration of traditional fasts is determined on the basis of religious events and has developed historically. Whereas it is physiologically more appropriate and effective to follow a protein-free diet weekly for several days in a row. This will allow the accumulation of reserves more evenly and rhythmically than long fasts several times a year. In addition, this modern and scientifically based approach is more comfortable and easier to use.
The body grows up to approximately 25 years, and therefore during this period there is a reasonable need for proteins.
After 25 years, every year the need for external protein becomes less and less, as more and more secondary protein is formed due to cell death from various diseases and effects.
The range in the number of days of the weekly protein-free diet depends on your overall health. The worse you feel, the longer the protein-free diet should be..
When is it necessary to increase the duration of the protein-free diet by at least 1 day?
- after the holidays, accompanied by a plentiful and long feast ( New Year, March 8, February 23, Birthday, professional holidays, etc.);
- after a vacation spent in a different climatic region, including with an unusual diet;
- with a steady change in air temperature the environment 8-10 degrees;
- when the first distant signs of a cold appear;
- before the start of the summer season (it is recommended to increase the duration of the protein-free diet by 2 days for 4 weeks).
Improving liver performance
Since the liver is responsible for breaking down excess protein, it is necessary to help it in this by increasing its productivity.
Liver performance is affected by the amount of energy from the work of adjacent muscles.
How to provide the level of microvibration necessary for the body and, in particular, for the liver?
At the same time, the best option is to combine high physical activity with a point external influence on the vital organs that are most depleted in microvibration, such as the kidneys and liver.
The result that allows you to assess the correctness of adherence to a protein-free diet (fasting) should be the absence of colds or their easy tolerance, since in most cases there is still no escape from viruses if you have to actively interact with other people, especially with children who go to school or kindergarten.
In this article, we will explain what a protein-free diet is. It is one of the few that is primarily used to treat certain medical conditions. It is based on unloading the body, protein metabolism. You can not use such a diet when playing sports, with constant physical exertion. In fact, the basis of the diet is to limit the intake of proteins in the body, an approximate reduction of up to 20% of the total amount of food consumed. Obligatory explicit medical indications should be taken into account:
- diseases associated with impaired liver and kidney function;
- oncological on different stages diseases;
- diabetes;
- the development of arthritis;
- cardiovascular diseases.
A protein-free diet is a clearly and correctly formed diet of your diet, it is needed to cleanse the body and to eliminate various problems in the body. The main requirement is a balanced content of substances necessary to speed up metabolism.
For fast weight loss it is imperative to combine the diet with. If you limit the amount of protein consumed, then after a week you can lose about 3 kg of excess weight.
But do not forget that for the normal growth of cells, our body needs protein as a building material.

It is required to completely abandon salt. Meals should be organized in 5-6 receptions in limited portions.
It is impossible to completely remove an important food element from your diet without consequences for the body. Remember the following rules. Protein is an important essential element, the basis of the life of our body. It is strictly forbidden to exclude it from your diet. The daily norm of the required protein for an adult is 0.75 g, with a protein-free diet, this value can be lowered only to 0.55 g.
It is required to give up serious physical activity... Reducing water intake and avoiding salt and spices altogether. Refusal from any fast food, fried, pickled food, flour products and alcohol. Meals 5-6 times a day. The main volume is taken before lunch. The last appointment is at least 2 hours before the rest. The optimal duration of a protein-free diet is one week.

The kidneys are a paired organ. And, as experts say, the organ is mute. Often, patients learn about problems in this area after getting to a hospital bed with many comorbidities.
The function of the kidneys in the human body is very important. This is the purification of the blood, and the removal of processed products from the body.
You can find out about the problems in this organ by an elementary blood test. But, unfortunately, a regular therapist is not suitable for this. A physician dealing with similar problems is a nephrologist.
In addition to drug therapy, a specialist without fail prescribes diet No. 7. This allows you to achieve a positive effect as quickly as possible.
The basis of this diet is the elimination of under-oxidized metabolic products, anti-inflammatory effect and limitation of extractive substances. However, we must not forget about vitamins and minerals, as well as proteins, fats and carbohydrates in strictly regulated proportions.
Eating table number 7 allows you to normalize metabolic processes. The severity with which the patient adheres to the diet depends on the severity of the disease.
It is forbidden
There is a list of foods that must be excluded from the patient's diet, due to the fact that they irritate the kidneys.
- salty foods;
- broths from meat, fish and mushrooms;
- wheat and black bread;
- chocolate, cocoa, coffee;
- canned meat and fish;
- carbonated drinks;
- mineral waters with a high sodium content;
- legumes;
- onions, sorrel, garlic;
- salty fish;
- cheeses;
- sausages and smoked products;
- fatty meats and fish.
Sodium and dyes in carbonated drinks are enemies for kidney problems

The following products are allowed for consumption:
- potatoes, carrots, beets, cauliflower;

Basic nutritional principles
There are several points to be followed by patients with kidney disease:
- It is necessary to follow the meal schedule whenever possible.
- The maximum amount of liquid per day is reduced to 1.5 liters.
- You need to eat in small portions, at least five times a day.
- All dishes can be salted only after cooking, and not during.
- You can not add hot seasonings and spices to dishes.
- It is necessary to exclude fatty foods from the diet.
- Increase the amount of vegetables and fruits in the diet.
Also, an important point when following diet number 7 is to reduce the amount of protein in the diet. However, protein is an essential component of the human body. It is proteins that are involved in the recovery of the body after various injuries and help fight infections.
The main organ that excretes the final product of protein breakdown is the kidneys. And if there is a pathology, then the network of blood vessels that filter the blood ceases to cope with its task.
Therefore, to help the kidneys, it is necessary to follow a low protein diet. However, it must be remembered that it is absolutely impossible to exclude protein from the diet. And for people with minor pathology, one is enough fasting day in Week.
Diet indications
- glomerulonephritis of moderate severity;
- cystitis.

The story of one of our readers Alina R .:
My weight was especially depressing for me. I gained a lot, after pregnancy I weighed like 3 sumo wrestlers together, namely 92 kg with an increase of 165. I thought my stomach would come off after giving birth, but no, on the contrary, I began to gain weight. How to cope with hormonal changes and obesity? But nothing disfigures or makes a person younger as his figure. In my 20s, I first learned that overweight girls called "WOMAN", and that "this size is not sewn." Then at 29, divorce from her husband and depression ...
But what can you do to lose weight? Laser liposuction surgery? Recognized - not less than 5 thousand dollars. Hardware procedures - LPG massage, cavitation, RF lifting, myostimulation? Slightly more affordable - the course costs from 80 thousand rubles with a consultant nutritionist. You can of course try to run on a treadmill, to the point of insanity.
And when to find all this time? And it's still very expensive. Especially now. Therefore, I chose a different way for myself ...
