V kindergarten a special role is given to the playroom, because kids spend most of their time in it. It will not be difficult to arrange such a room today, because there is a huge amount of specialized equipment and toys that will optimally fit into the concept of a preschool educational institution.
Undoubtedly, a playroom in a kindergarten is a separate world where a child can have fun with peers.
At first glance, it seems that such a room performs an exclusively entertainment function, at least this is how children perceive this corner. However, if you approach the issue of decorating a children's room correctly, then it will also be able to perform a developmental role. The main task when arranging a play corner in a kindergarten is to choose the right equipment. It is important that the children are interested in spending time here and at the same time they develop various skills. To arrange a playroom, it is worth choosing all kinds of attractions with which children can train their intellect. For example, for a kindergarten, an attraction is optimal, which allows you to take a fresh look at the good old game. Play equipment will also be appropriate in the kindergarten playroom, with the help of which you can learn numbers and letters. Children do not realize that solving problems with ingenuity, they learn, this process captures them much more than completing traditional tasks, because game form close to the child.
In addition, all kinds of labyrinths and playgrounds are suitable for kindergarten. Children preschool age are very mobile, therefore it is important to provide them with conditions for active pastime. It is important that the playroom in the kindergarten is safe, so you should choose only high-quality equipment, this will avoid injuries that often occur when many children play in the room at the same time. Often in kindergartens you can see playrooms equipped with soft items, which reduces the risk of injury in the play area. For example, in children's rooms, a collapsible one is appropriate.
In a kindergarten, you can arrange an interesting playroom even with a minimal budget. There are equipment options for a play corner that allow you to minimize waste and at the same time achieve the desired result. If you choose goods from trusted suppliers, then you don't have to worry about their quality and reliability.
The playroom for the child is a place for the development of creativity and imagination. This space presents endless design possibilities, but more practical issues like storage space and the like need to be considered as well.
Creating a space that will inspire kids to play joyfully provides amazing options for whimsical décor choices. By contrasting children's motives for effective organization, exciting results can be created.
Once you start looking for a playroom design, be sure to consider your child's wishes. Their ideas can inspire you, but they also guarantee that your little one will want to spend a lot of time there.
Playroom layout
As you lay out your playroom, pay attention to the space. Is the room big? Will it be used by multiple children? Or perhaps the "playroom" is a corner in the child's bedroom because you have a small apartment.
If space is not an issue, consider placing cabinets, tables, and chairs along the wall and leave the center of the room clear for creative activity... Be sure to place large tables in the playroom as kids use table surfaces for many activities, from drawing to building pad.
If there is no room for a large table, try an L-shaped arrangement as shown in the room below. If the play area is going to be part of a child's bedroom and not a separate room in the house, there are many layout options.
For example, place the crib against the wall and the table in the center as shown in the photo below. Consider a comfortable seating area for your kids. For example, place a few large pillows against the wall or place a couple of chairs where your children can comfortably sit and read a book.
Don't forget to decorate the walls. Best of all, if these are artwork by the owners of the room themselves. Playroom Chairs When it comes to playroom chairs, the possibilities are endless.
There are a variety of styles to suit your design needs, from simple wooden chairs to sophisticated modular designs. For a spectacular playground, you can use the hanging bubble chairs designed by Randy Weinstein, which you can see in the photo below. If you want to add originality, use these pieces of furniture.
These colorful shapes are a modern version of the rocking horse, and their appearance surprisingly simple. These fun geometric shapes are available in red, yellow, blue, green and pink.
The game rooms that the designers have worked on turn into real works of art. Artists even draw inspiration from children's toys.
In the photo below, you can see tables and chairs made in the form of a Lego constructor, which serve as a room divider. To personalize your room, order chairs with your child's name. They come in all sorts of colors, and you can easily choose the option that will fit well into the interior of your room.
Storing things in the playroom
Storage can be one of the biggest challenges in playroom design. How can you place a large number of toys and supplies while avoiding clutter?
Fortunately, modern options provide many answers to this question. Look at the cubes in the bottom photo that open and close to hide their contents.
In addition to shelving with a door that hides the contents inside, baskets of various colors can be chosen. The handles make access to their contents simple and convenient.
For completeness, choose similar storage baskets and buckets in the playroom. This technique cleverly hides art supplies, toys, and books.
Remember storage is only half the battle. Make sure children can easily reach the items they regularly use. Consider containers that combine practicality with creativity, such as the tiered art supplies holder in the photo below.
Also notice the numbered baskets along the wall, which help the children remember what's inside by matching the numbers with the contents of the containers. Don't forget about the need for a large bookshelf.
Even if some of the shelves are too high for kids to reach, these shelves can be the perfect place to store items that kids don't regularly use, such as toys, books, and supplies that kids will enjoy as they grow up.
If a playroom for a child and a bedroom are the same, try a vertical shelving unit with drawers which is the perfect place for books, small items and toys of all sizes.
Playroom decoration
We figured out the practical issues of planning, recreation and storage, now let's talk about decorating the playroom. You need to know a few secrets to turn an ordinary space into a work of art.
In the photo below, designer David Duncan Livingston filled one wall with a painting board. Simple and useful! Install a round module that will become a kind of attic for children to hide.
Please note that with outside this piece of furniture has round inserts on which books and toys are located. Although some people prefer to make playrooms more practical than beautiful, it should not be forgotten that their owners are children who love everything fabulous and bright.
The photo below shows that several mini-trees and plush fly agarics have turned an ordinary room into a magical forest. In the next room, children will be able to play inside a cozy tent, which allows them to hide, although it hangs in the middle of the room.
For some design enthusiasts, the playroom will turn into a fantastic place where anything is possible. There are many unique features in the room below, which are based on the Moomins book by Finnish writer Tove Janson.
The room was created by designer Maria Yasko. Notice how the 3-D wall murals and ceiling shapes add layers. Perhaps the most unusual option is this one: a playroom in the middle of the house.
This project was created by Danish designer Nina Tolstrup. It resembles a secret fort in which children will be happy to hide with their secrets. As you can see, there are many options for creating modern game rooms.
If you want to make a room for your baby where fantasy meets reality, go for it. Enjoy the process and don't forget to involve the kids!
The presence in the house of a children's playroom for children is one of the factors for the full and healthy development of a child. Today, of course, everyone shopping center or any other public institution is equipped with such a room. But the main goal of common playrooms is to free up parents for a couple of hours. Another thing is a playroom for children at home.
Here the baby feels relaxed and comfortable. Everything you need is prepared by caring parents, taking into account the individual characteristics and preferences of your beloved child. Let's figure out what makes an ordinary playroom.
The main points to consider when arranging a children's playroom
Soundproofing
Running, jumping, singing, screaming - all this is very much loved by boys and girls. Therefore, for your own peace of mind and for the sake of preserving the nerves of the neighbors, creating a playroom for children with your own hands, it is advisable to arrange soundproofing of the walls of the room. Doors should also be tightly closed.
Floor
The floor should be washed well, in case something accidentally spills. It's not bad if, when planning a room for children with your own hands, you took care of installing a "warm floor". Considering that kids love to sit or lie right on the carpet, then this feature will come in handy. Be sure to choose a bright rug. The child will be delighted with an unusual rug with the image of a favorite cartoon character or an imitation of the roadway with road signs and a "zebra". In that part of the room where outdoor games or physical education are expected, mats should be placed.
Ceiling and walls
Paint the ceiling and walls in pastel light colors. This will make the room appear larger. Just remember that the walls, from time to time, will have to be washed from the "traces" of the activities of small residents. Themed pictures will look great on the walls. Make the sky with your own hands from a standard play ceiling for children. Delight your baby by drawing funny clouds or stars. Of course, the implementation of this idea requires certain skills in drawing (or the involvement of a professional artist). But you can do without it. Cover the walls with washable wallpaper with special childish designs. Don't forget to take your child with you when you go for the wallpaper. Let the baby also take part in the arrangement of the space, which is intended only for him and his guests.
Furniture
You can talk about this endlessly, but there are several requirements that children's furniture must meet: safety and functionality. There should not be a lot of furniture so that it does not interfere with free movement around the room during outdoor games. Be sure to put a small table in the room.
You can draw on it, make applications, etc. Place several small chairs or ottomans near the table. A frameless pear chair will be in its place in the playroom.
A separate topic is drawers, cabinets and racks for toys. It will be better if the toy cabinet will also consist of individual modules that can first be used during the game, and then, after its completion, folded inside the toy.
If you decide to use a one-piece rack, then insert the same containers or drawers inside its sections. This will make it easier to sort out small children's treasures.
Sports section
The availability of sports equipment is interesting not only for boys. Some girls like to hang out on the bar too. You can buy a ready-made sports complex if space permits. If you have a small apartment, don't be discouraged. You can make an individual sports corner from individual elements. Place the crossbar in the doorway. The diameter of the tube should not be wider than 3 cm. According to your mood, you can hang rings, a punching bag or a rope on it. While the child is very small, it is easy to arrange a swing on such a horizontal bar. It is possible to connect the most rigid structures in the room with rope ladders. Place mats underneath these transitions to save space. A staircase near the wall will also not reduce the space of the room. Make sure that the distance between the steps does not exceed 25 cm and that the lower step is not too far from the floor. Also pay attention to the treatment of surfaces that the child will touch. They must be smooth, otherwise splinters cannot be avoided.
Drawing board
A great solution is to create a “legalized” area for painting, saving yourself the hassle associated with the childish habit of painting walls. To do this, it is enough to purchase and place in the game a semblance of a familiar school board. If this is not possible, you can simply paint a part of the wall with black waterproof paint. The little artist, armed with crayons, will be happy to create "rock art". Immediately tell the child what to clean up. workplace with a damp cloth, it will be on its own.
Decorating
The territory of the playroom is a space for the implementation of the most interesting and daring ideas. One has only to give free rein to fantasy. The main idea is that everything should be pleasing to the eye, and make the room not boring. Pictures with funny faces, thematic drawings, illustrations of fairy-tale plots, etc. will help to revive the room. In order to reward your toddler's artistic talents, hang his work on the walls. Another striking touch is functional pockets for small items of a fancy shape, sewn from multi-colored patches.
Toys
Well, it goes without saying, what's a playroom without toys? Balls, dolls, toy soldiers, bears, trains and much, much more. Give preference to toys made from natural, environmentally friendly materials.
By the way, children will be delighted if you, attracting your fidgets to assistants, independently build toys from scrap materials. Today it is very fashionable to make toys from cardboard boxes.
It's cheap, safe, and fun. The variety of ideas for making in-game items from such available material that will appeal to tomboys of both sexes. Houses, cars, airplanes and much, much more. Schemes and detailed instructions you will find on the Internet.
Paying a little attention to these points, you can easily equip a comfortable and safe playroom. So that the child is not bored in it, show your imagination, plunge into the world of childhood yourself, at least for a while, and you will understand what exactly should be present in the play area of your baby. Do not hesitate to involve him in the planning and decoration of the room in which he will be a full-fledged owner.
