Of course, each profession has its own recognized "idols". And even if famous interior designers are not as popular and recognizable as some artists, musicians or even politicians, this does not diminish their dignity in the least. Their names never leave the lips of ordinary interior specialists, and the phrase “You designed this room in the style of Arne Jacobsen himself” uttered with awe, is the highest measure of praise in relation to the work done, and the designer is no longer trying to expect more gratitude - and after all, more already nowhere!
Famous interior designers are undoubtedly one of the most creative people on our planet, defining the face of each new era. It was these masters who in the eighteenth century toiled in France on the splendor of the Louvre - one of the largest museums in the world - and the Versailles palace and park ensemble. And thanks to whom, in our crazy time, we can rightfully be proud of the beauty of Hollywood, the comfort and peace of modest apartments and huge houses, the convenience of studios, the pomp of work offices?
However, the strength of the hotel lies in the fact that the number of suites is different from the unique. The dresser of the famous cabinetmaker Boulle leads into a sumptuous living room where you can dine or relax. French windows open onto a private terrace overlooking the delightful Art Deco Fountain of the Three Graces.
The three Michelin-starred restaurants have a dining area with large French windows overlooking an internal marble courtyard. The setting and atmosphere to be shared by the two are sublimated by the restaurant menu. The latter is inspired by traditional French cuisine as well as new gastronomic trends. The hotel also features a spa and sauna with an emphasis on wellness and relaxation. In a more modern setting than the rest of the hotel, these activities should share two.
In the age of modern computer technology and the progressive dynamics of scientific and technical strength, the number of specialists in the field of interior design is growing day by day. In fact, the art of creating an interior has ceased to be an art: the work of a designer at home already implies the obligatory design and tracking of milestones at a construction site from start to finish. Today, you can independently design almost any room, in some cases even a whole house. It will not be difficult to find the program you need on the Internet, and here you are - a real interior designer. The other path offers numerous courses in this specialty.
But in the last century, all this was much more complicated. Well-known interior designers in those distant times were really talented people. They created their masterpieces without the help of modern computers and "wise" software. These gentlemen were so authoritative and respected that not every rich nobleman could allow you to invite at least one of them for a cup of tea. The "creators" of beauty have turned their talents into real art, whose name is design. Most of those who left their immortal mark in the art of design, worked at the dawn of the 20th century, while their work we have the opportunity to admire to this day.
The most famous interior designers of the last century should not remain unknown to the modern generation. This is the Dutch creator Jean-Henri Jansen, in 1881 he created the later famous company "House of Jansen". The chic interiors by Elsie de Wolfe have fascinated the public with their originality for many years: the Boston decorator and architect in their fields, not excluding design, created incomparable masterpieces. His colleague, in terms of passion for the interior, and also American Francesca Adler, was recognized as the greatest designer of the last century - she created most of her works in the French style. Unique developments and ideas in the decoration of premises, interior and design of houses belong to the world famous Frank Lloyd Wright. After television swept into power with lightning speed in the middle of the last century, designers Laurence Llewelyn Bowen and Linda Barker became wildly popular thanks to American television channels. Unfortunately, nothing really worthwhile and extraordinary has not been invented since then. However, even in our century there are many truly talented "maestros" of world recognition, not to mention whose names will be a real crime from the point of view of the art of interior design.
Who are they - modern famous interior designers?

Frenchman Philippe Starck admits that he spends most of his life not at home, but in the cabin of Air France. Stark's main position is the "accessibility" of design. This means that if not bought, then everyone can see his things. As a professional dreamer, Philip does not work on private homes and residential interiors. He only designs restaurants, hotels, museums, comparing them to machines that provide people with a completely new experience. In addition to furniture design for French, Swiss, Japanese, Spanish and Italian firms, Stark creates street lamps, toothbrushes, kitchen utensils and bottles for mineral water... This is still that super-inventor!

Minimalism popularized by design
The fundamental principle of the minimalist movement is the famous "Less is more" by architect Ludwig Mies van der Rohe. Long time misunderstood by the general public, minimalism is truly popularized by creations from the world of design, most often simple, simple and functional furniture.
Minimalism and design today
Minimalism excludes excessive focus on the essential. The state of mind that most often divides them, whose task is to create, always seeking to reconcile form and function. An intellectual proximity that explains why, more than ever, minimalism is becoming the dominant trend in the design world, regardless of its scope: architecture, interior decoration, the automotive industry, graphics and, of course, electronic products.
The English painter, furniture and fabric designer William Morris was also known during his lifetime as a type designer, book designer and poet. He is the forefather of the concept of synthesis, which at that time was considered the key concept of new art. William Maurice made a huge contribution to the birth of the artistic style of the second half of the 19th century. His ideas were aimed at the harmonious existence of an industrial society and contributed to the further development of mechanized production of goods among the broad masses. Subsequently, it will acquire what is known in modern world name - "design".

The famous innovation of the Englishwoman Eileen Gray - the Bibendum chair - is one of the most recognizable and unique pieces of design of the last century. An artist by vocation, Eileen Gray spent her entire life in solitude, creating comfortable, original and very funny things. At the same time, the woman did not formally have the skills of either one or the other: Baroness Eileen Gray did not receive an architectural education, as, incidentally, she was never specially trained to design furniture.
