I only state the fact: a layer of Russian society, which considers itself the most modern and progressive, behaves in accurately according to clan principles. You can beat our "progressive intelligentsia" for a long time for the discrepancy between what it declares and how it actually behaves. In the system of security officials? In the environment of officials? In a business environment? So it turns out: everything you can accuse our creative class is hypocrisy.
From this, again it does not necessarily follow that the defenders of Kirill Serebrennikov behave wrong. From the point of view of the rules adopted in our society, they behave as it should: appeal to the first person of the state, replicate allegedly, which, by the way, can easily be regarded as pressing pressure on law enforcement agencies. And who will say to me: is it well in modern Russian conditions or bad - use the president to give pressure on investigators who unwind a concrete criminal case?
When a cult public figure is delayed in the West, everyone declare their shock state, but at the same time add: the court will necessarily figure everything. In our society, this phrase is also present - but only in a purely ritual sense. In Russia, there is no confidence in institutions, including the court, law enforcement agencies and other and other. In Russia, there is a belief that any question can be solved by convincing the president in the loyalty of their picture of the world and that "their" needs to be shed at any cost.
From whose point of view, it is very bad. From someone's point of view, it is very good and convenient.
