What is an Infernal Machine?

Keys drop with 100% chance if you fight with MP=10 and 5 stacks Nephalem Valor.
Bosses will drop great items. There is also a chance of dropping one of the three pieces Hell Ring(Hellfire ring):

What is the Hellfire ring?
This ring was added to the game along with the Infernal Machine. The creation of this ring will cost 15,000 gold. It will be made by a jeweler (level 10 is required), but after you buy the recipe from the merchant girl Squirt the Peddler(act 2).
There are 4 versions of this ring: the Hellfire Ring of Intelligence, the Hellfire Ring of Strength, the Hellfire Ring of Dexterity, and the Hellfire Ring of Vitality. Based on the names, the ring will be assigned 170-200 units. this characteristic.

The long-awaited patch 1.0.5 in Diablo III has added a nice innovation in the form of the Infernal Machine. Now players of level 60 will be able to test their strength with the uber-bosses of Sancturia.
To activate this machine, you will need to collect all the necessary components for the device and craft it at the blacksmith. To get three keys and a sketch, you will need to fight the "Key Keeper" and of course defeat him. That being said, you just need to have five stacks of Nephalem Valor! The strength of monsters (SM) also depends on the chance of keys falling out, so with SM0-5%, SM1-10%, SM2-20%, SM3-30%, SM4-40% SM5-50%, SM6-60%, SM7- 70%, CM8-80%, CM9-90%, CM10-100%.
Each act of the game has its own "Key Keeper". So in the first act he is in the location " Dead fields"

Further, if you have three keys, having studied the sketch from a blacksmith (level 10 of training) and paying 12k gold for crafting, you will receive an “Infernal Device”. Now you need to activate it. Go to the Heretic's Abode, which is located near the merchant (first act).
In items, right-click to activate the Infernal Machine. In the tasks you must have "Return to New Tristram", otherwise the door to the "Heretic's Abode" will not open.
An entrance to the portal will appear, where two very strong bosses will be waiting for you at once, these are:
Zoltun Kull and the Siege Beast
Khom and Rakanot
Leoric and Magda
Immediately decide on the strength of the monsters with which you are going to go to the bosses, because then you will not be able to change it! Of course, with friends it will be much easier to succeed.
Remember that the portal to the boss will only be active until you log out of the game (log out). If you died, then you can enter the portal and start again without restrictions in attempts, but the battle starts from scratch.
Now, in order to activate the next "Infernal Machine", you need to collect three keys again and create a new device, you need to get the sketch once.

In order to assemble an infernal device, you will need to knock out its sketch and three keys: destruction, hatred and horror. And so that all this can fall on you MUST have 5 stacks of Nephalem Valor, while the chance will be equal to 5%.
You can increase the probability of falling keys using: CM1-10%, CM2-20% ... CM10-100%. Thus, with CM10, when you kill a guardian, you will get a key with 100% probability.

Before activating the infernal device, it is better to team up with two other, or even four, players. This way you can get the reagents for the Hellfire Ring much faster, given the fact that each of you has one device and everyone uses it.
When building stacks for killing bosses, don't forget to kill the key keeper in the first act.

With the release of Update 1.0.5, level 60 players will be able to craft the Infernal Device, a special machine that unlocks mega versions of some of the worst bosses this side of New Tristram. Components
To craft the Infernal Device, players will need four components, which are guarded by mighty Guardians in each Act on Inferno difficulty.

- Infernal device sketch can be obtained as a reward for defeating Nekarat the Keeper of the Key on the first level of the Silver Spire (Act IV).

Players will be able to meet Guardians on any difficulty level. However, the chance to get the Infernal Device Component will only appear on Inferno difficulty. and only if you have five Nephalem Valor stacks. You do not need to use the Monster Power function to obtain components, however, for each level of Monster Power, the chance of obtaining items will increase by 10%. Thus, at level 10 monster power, you will be able to get them with a 100% chance.
Device
Once you have collected all the components, the blacksmith in town will be able to craft the device. The blacksmith needs to be leveled up to level 10 in order for him to be able to learn the legendary sketch, and he will also need 12,000 gold to craft the device.
Once the device is crafted, it will remain in your inventory until it is activated.
When the blacksmith has made the device, its energy can only be released in one place - the Heretic's Abode, a small cellar in New Tristram. To activate the device, go down to the cellar (Brother Malachi, the healer, is standing right in front of it) and use the item in the inventory with the right mouse button. The used device will open an ominous red portal to the world of demons, where you will have to fight two vile villains of Sanctuary at once.
In order to enter the Heretic's Retreat, players will need to select the quest "Act I - Return to New Tristram".
Once activated, the infernal device will be destroyed, so another device will need to be crafted to create a new portal. You will again need to get three keys and pay 12,000 gold to the blacksmith. But you don’t have to worry about the sketch: the blacksmith studied it, and now it will constantly be displayed in the list of items available for crafting.
Bosses
Those who have the courage to step into the sinister portal created by the device will find themselves in one of the realms of absolute evil (there are 3 realms in total, and one of them will be chosen at random). There, predetermined pairs of bosses will be waiting for them.

Boss fights will be similar in difficulty to the fight against Diablo on the Inferno difficulty level, and each of the bosses will have access to all his skills and spells. Some skills have become more powerful, and the bosses themselves have learned new techniques that will certainly be used against those who dare to penetrate their realm.
If you die in battle with the fiends of the underworld, do not worry. If you have not left the game, you can stop the battle and start it again at any time, simply by using the same portal. In addition, after defeating the bosses, the portal to the Heretic's Hall will remain active until you exit the game. This means that if you run out of space in your bag, the loot can be picked up later.
(Please note that you cannot enter the same Realm of Pure Evil twice in the same game. This means that if you have more than 4 infernal devices - it does not matter if you created them yourself or other members of the group own them - you can only use 3 of them at the same time in one game.After 3 portals are open, you will need to start new game to use the rest of the infernal devices.)
Awards
For defeating a couple of scary bosses, players will receive additional items and gold. In addition, the heroes will have the opportunity to collect demonic organs from the bodies of defeated enemies, from which they can make a legendary item of terrifying power - a ring of hellfire.
To create a Hellfire ring, three organs are required.
- Wriggling spine can be obtained as a reward for defeating King Leoric or Magda in the Realm of Strife.
- devil's fang can be obtained as a reward for defeating Khom or Rakanoth in the Realm of Chaos.
- vengeful eye can be obtained as a reward for defeating an Assault Beast or Zoltun Kull in the Realm of Confusion.
As with Guardian Keys, Nephalem Valor must be stacked at least five times to obtain Organs. In addition, for each level of monster power, the chance of obtaining organs will increase by 10%.
To craft any Hellfire Ring, you will need to give
three organs and 15,000 gold to the jeweler.
Once you've obtained all the organs and bought the special recipe from Jumpy Dealer, you can ask the Jeweler to make a special item out of them. Once familiar with the recipe, a level 10 Jeweler will be able to craft four types of Hellfire Rings: Signs of Strength, Intelligence, Agility, and Vitality. Depending on the option chosen, the ring will provide an increase to one of the main characteristics in the range from 170 to 200 units.
In addition to the guaranteed primary stat boost, each ring will have the stats listed below.
- +35% to experience.
- +4 random magical properties.
- There are no level requirements.
- Linked to an account.
- Dealing damage has a chance to release a fireball.
Hellfire Ring is considered a unique item; this means that a character can only wear one of these rings at a time. Companions will be able to put on such a ring; however, considering the increase in experience gained and the lack of character level requirements, such rings will be a great gift for your new characters. If you think you no longer need this ring, you can dismantle it for its components at the blacksmith. Create them at least one at a time, at least in thousands! The choice is yours!
