Game description
"Tanks in the Labyrinth" v 3.13 simulates a military battle in deep trenches. The goal is to be the first to undermine the enemy’s combat vehicle. In addition to the ability to play in full screen, a control switch and bonus connections are added: new weapons and labyrinths! Click special button settings and select the desired option from the menu.
New tank weapons:
- laser with precise sight;
- fragmentation bomb (will help destroy enemies with a hail of shrapnel);
- Gatling gun (shoots a barrage of bullets while holding down the fire button);
- a homing projectile or a death ray will find and catch up with the target.
Labyrinths:
- standard game cards;
- custom mazes;
- saved labyrinths of other players.
How to play
Selecting the “1 player” mode includes playing against the computer with the “Laika” bot tank. Its difficulty varies depending on your skills and the settings you choose. Move with the arrows and use "M" to shoot. To simplify the task, play in full screen - a detailed view will help you find your way faster!
The tank battle mode for three and two is selected using the “3 Player” and “2 Player” buttons, respectively.
Player 2 moves using the "ESDF" keys and shoots - "Q".
Player 3 moves along the mouse cursor, hitting by pressing the space bar.
You must be very vigilant in driving the tank and shooting - you can die from the ricochet of your own shells!
Strategy for playing tanks in a maze for one, two and three
To gain a competitive advantage over your enemies, keep track of the shells - every ammunition is taken into account; if you fire thoughtlessly, you may find yourself defenseless against your enemy at the moment when you could have fired.
If you are fighting Laika in the “Tanks for One” mode, try to hold a position at the edge of the maze, from where the bullets will ricochet strongly, and try to shoot with a laser. Please note: Bot Laika’s tank cannot dodge while shooting at the same time.
Use additional bonuses that appear on the screen to enhance the firepower of your tanks. Collect them first to improve and upgrade your own weapons, otherwise the enemy will do it!

Firstly, your tank can only fire 5 cores in a row, after which you will need to wait until they all disappear! Each cannonball disappears 15 seconds after being fired. Secondly, as you already noticed, all bullets bounce off any surface, so you need to make sure that one of them, bouncing off the wall, does not hit you back! Bonus boxes will appear on the field, and by picking them up you can take advantage of very cool bonuses!
- Laser shot is one of the most formidable weapons of your tank. Having picked up such a bonus, you get a laser sight that shows the entire trajectory of the shot. And after pressing the trigger, the shot is carried out along the entire trajectory and if the enemy hits the laser beam, then you will win.
- Homing missile - when fired, it flies in the direction where it was launched, but a few seconds after launch it automatically aims at the nearest target and follows it.
- An enhanced laser beam is the most formidable weapon in the game tanks in the labyrinth. Allows you to fire a shot straight through walls and have an almost 100% chance of hitting the target.
- A large projectile - at launch, differs from the usual one only in its size, but after 15 seconds, during the explosion, its fragments scatter along a large trajectory.
- A guided missile is very similar to a homing missile, but you are able to control it yourself.
Of course, playing tanks in a maze with three people is not very convenient, since it will be more difficult to control the mouse, but nothing can be done. Although you can always compromise and arrange a 2 on 2 tournament, fighting each other in turns. By the way, the better you can calculate your move without driving yourself into a dead end, the greater your chances of winning! After all, if in this game you drive your tank to a dead end, and then the enemy shoots there from a cannon, then with a high probability the bullet will reach its target and he will be awarded a bonus point!

Gameplay of a tank game for three
With a shell fired from a tank, you can easily destroy your own tank if you don’t calculate its flight path, so be careful. The number of cores produced is limited to 5. This was done primarily in order to prevent the destruction of all opponents by releasing too many large quantity cores that will scatter throughout the map. After all, each cannonball flies around the site, bouncing off the walls for about 15 seconds and only then disappears. However, releasing 5 cores at once is still one of the most effective tactics for defeating all opponents. As for the single battle, you will have 5 attempts in it, after which you will be offered to either quit or continue the game.
Below, under the map, there are fields where matches won by you and your opponent will be reported. Control in this mode will work using the arrow keys to move and “M” to attack from a cannon. In the tank battle mode for three people, you will need to control both the arrow keys and “WASD”, as well as the mouse. True, the mouse is not very convenient to use, but nothing can be done about it. During the battle, bonuses will appear on the field, allowing you to use super weapons - lasers, homing missiles and machine guns!
